Not sure if this has been mentioned here before, but today I wen to the BOG Restaurant and the rose mosaic that used to greet guests as they entered is gone. I'm referring to the one that was on the floor right at the entrance.. (like a door mat). This one

Sorry no pic of what is there now, but it's basically just black/silver lines like what you'll see at any entry.
It doesn't look bad, but not the same effect as the rose mosaic for sure.

Jerks were picking away the tiles. Someone posted pictures a while back. ETA oops the pictures I saw were of the mosaic on the wall.

The tile mosaic on the floor was a horrible design flaw by imagineers. The amount of foot traffic that went over that thing during lunch tore it apart. Plus, guests would stop in the middle of the entry way, look down, take pictures and not pay attention to anything else around them. It was getting extremely dangerous because people would not move when there was a busser cart or a food cart trying to get in and out of the Rose Gallery. It's been gone for awhile, and for the better.

The Rose mosaic started to fall apart pretty quickly after Be Our Guest opened, and I think this is also why all the tile mosaics that were planned of the Tangled restroom area were cut, all the foot traffic would have wrecked them

You're mixing your entries; the mosaic you're talking about was at the entry to the Castle Dining Room/Rose Room/Statue Room or whatever it's called now. The main entry always had the black and silver lines, it's actually a drain.
And despite personal interpretation, the floor mosaic was not a "horrible design flaw", we have floor mosaics in various locations all over property. There are just certain activities condusive to a restaurant that are extremely hard on 1" square floor tiles. I wished it would have worked, it was beautiful when it went in.
