Be Our Guest lunch of dinner?

One week away for planning our dining reservations, and it's time to determine what are our must-do restaurants! I am super excited about trying Be Our Guest, but can't decide on lunch or dinner. I know we may not even snag a dinner reservation, but if I can, do you think it's a better option than lunch? Anyone out there with experience at either or both?

Haven't done either yet, but I'd definitely prefer getting a dinner reservation if possible. There is quite a line that builds for the lunchtimes p, since that is quick service.

Try to get a dinner ADR the lunch lines can be very very long! GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We did both. Lunch lines are a bit longer, however the food is a bit cheaper. Dinner does (at least currently) give you the chance to meet the Beast after the meal. And by all reports once MyMagic/FP+ gets fully deployed, you should be able to order your food online using your device dramatically cutting down the lunch lines. Lunch was a nice change from the normal CS food at MK, so may be worth even if you have dinner ressies as well.

We went in mid Jan. and only waited 15 min for a lunch for two at 12:30. Please correct me if I'm wrong but I was under the impression that the desserts are the same, the steak is the same, just in sandwich form for lunch, the table settings are the same, and that aside from the number of choices for dinner and servers bringing your drinks instead of going to the fountians the meals are very similar. I haven't made it for dinner but I was very pleased with everything about our lunch. We even got to sit right by the snowy windows and take it all in.
