Hit 180 days yesterday! The only ADR I didn't get that I really wanted was lunch at BOG. I tried for the whole week we will be there, none. Checked again this morning. I did book it for dinner but really wanted lunch. Do they make ADR's for lunch or am I trying for something that isn't available?

It's counter service only at lunch, no ADRs.

They don't have ADRs -- BUT if you are eligible for Fastpass+, you can log on to MyMagic+ during your window (60 days, I think?) get a "Fastpass" for BOG for lunchtime, and even have the option of pre-ordering your meal.

We had lunch at BOG a couple of weeks ago. The french onion soup was awesome. The restaurant was absolutely beautiful. The three rooms were beautifully decorated and I could really live in it!! The West Wing had the enchanted rose and it was incredible!!!! The decor is worth the price of admission right there!!!!

BOG is available as a quick service until 2:30pm. Then it changes over to dinner with reservations only.

We are not part of the FP+ testing group. I went on the Disney website to try to book a FP for the QS lunch and I wasn't allowed to do so. We are "ineligible" because we are not part of the test group. That was pretty much the message I received, but worded differently.

Can anyone tell me if the walk up waiting period for QS lunch has died down at all since BOG first opened? I remember reading somewhere that people were lining up for lunch as soon as they got to the parks, when it first opened. As much as I would absolutely love experiencing a meal here, I just don't have the time or patience to wait that long in a line for a meal. We will be going in a little less than a month, and it's on my wish list of things to do, but I want to be realistic in my expectations. How long are folks waiting these days for lunch?

When we were there last November, the line for lunch was huge, we pitched up late, 1:30 I think it was & joined the end of the line, we were in ordered & seated by 2pm.
It is a big place & they bring the food out very quickly once you have ordered & found your seat.
If I am being honest, the food was good but nothing spectacular, the décor & theming was amazing though.
I understand why people want to eat there & we will go back next year during our next trip, but at the end of the day we are not talking Cali Grill level of food, it's just about a notch up from counter service but nothing more.
Would I consider it for dinner..... possibly, but the only benefit I can see in the dinner offer is meeting the Beast & being able to have a glass of wine, nothing more.

The only way I have found to book at BOG FP for lunch is through this link, www.beourguestlunch.disney.go.com you can't book through the regular Disney website. If you do this, be sure to print your confirmation when you are done as the FP does not show up anywhere on any of your plans in the My Disney Experience and you do not get an email confirmation.

As I stated in my above post, DH and I are NOT part of the FP+ testing and we have booked a FP for BOG lunch on Monday. In fact, we've done this twice because DH made a tiny mistake and cancelled the first one!!

When I was just there, we got there at about 1:30 and were in by 1:40. It was hot outside and there was a CM handing out iced cold lemon water and large Mickey umbrellas to hold over your head. A nice Disney touch. Then we waited about 5 more minutes inside until we ordered food. The food came within 1 minute of being at our table. We didn't even hace our drinks and it was there. I did pass by a few times throughout our trip and saw the line outside was longer. Maybe I timed it right. The QS food was ok, but the soup my son had was great. I think the dinner menu looks really good. I had a very late reservation there but did cancel it because it was just too late for the kiddies. Yeah, I prob should have kept it but oh well. Next year. I really was fine eating the QS. I really just wanted to see the place and it did not disappoint. The three rooms were gorgeous.
