Good Day Everyone. Are we all Happy ? No Grumpy allowed in this touchy thread.;) I read today that " Be Our Guest " has a list of fats, calories, etc to each meal on their menu. The braised pork looks really good,as does the warm tuna dish, and the fact you can check out how healthy it is by watching the calorie count is,IMO,a great idea. What are your views on this, and should other QS take note.I know that the double cheeseburger with extras will get that calorie count thro the window, but in this day & age of obesity,I think this is a excellent idea from Disney.Well done.;)

It is a great idea, and is very helpful for tose of us watching what we eat. Believe it or not even with all the food I always lose weight at WDW what with all the walking and swimming.
Same here.In fact we spent 4 days away over the new year period with 4 nights eating out and I've put on 6 lb  that's almost half a stone.Time to break out the elastic pants.

It's a great idea. Generally we don't watch too closely what we eat while in the world but gentle reminders you can take or leave might help. My dh gained 9 pounds last trip! Extra stregnth elastic!

Ditto- we both lost weight @WDW & not by skimping on yummy food- but as a lifetime Weight Watchers member I appreciate a side of knowledge along with my delicious food.

Showed this to my DW who has started her new diet and she thinks its something that should have been done years ago.I tend to agree, however, fans of the famous turkey leg may be quaking in their boots.:(

Quite correct and I can understand why restaurants are resistant to listing that info right on the menu. I would love to see the sales figures of the McDonald's big breakfast platter before and after they printed its over 1000 calorie content right on the menu.
