Be Honest Read/Post Ration

Alright, because I am bored I just want to ask a question to everybody...

How many threads do you read before you post a reply. For every time you theoretically put the pen to paper, how many times do you see a thread and just go, "eh."

I would say mines about a 20/1 ratio

I don't read everything thread. Typically I'll have 5/1 read/post ratio. But sometimes it will change because I'll just feel more vocal. Recently I have replied to almost everything thread I read.

I usually reply to every thread I read because I only read the ones that interest me & feel I might have something to add.

(though there is the occasional train wreck I'll follow just to watch what happens. :o )

I would say probably closer to 30 or 35-1. The reason is that my WDW knowledge is far below a lot of members, so I have nothing to add. I guess I read most boards more for information, the exception being chit chat of course.

What? There is some really good info in Chit-Chat. You just have to know where to look. You can increase your vocabulary, or your knowledge of obscure movie quotes or get diet tips or watch WDWMAGIC Wiggles movies. The list goes on & on & on & on..... :D

It depends. 99% of the time I will only post in a thread I am interested in, and they seem to come around in phases. For about a week, you'll get lots of Expedition:Everest threads or DLP Space Mountain threads, and then they'll die off for a few weeks.

Apparently I post 1.17 posts per day on average, so not much. I'd go for a 35-1 average I suppose. :)

I think my average would be higher for just the Premium Lounge though, as I am paying for that, so want to make use of it

I agree with most. I only really read things that are of interest to me, and then only post if I feel I have anything to add that hasn't already been said or something like that. So, yeah....20-1, I guess?

Oh... the info here is great.... I just seem to think I have more knowledge about what is discussed here than in a lot of the other forums....... :D

As you can see by my single-digit posts, I read a LOT more than I post. I've been on here reading for quite a while - check the site almost every day - but hardly ever contribute. I guess I'm just afraid of getting sucked in...
