BC v. YC

We love the Yacht club as we found it to be nice and peaceful with beautiful furnishings and excellent customer service. Our room wasn't perfect when we arrived , but the concierge corrected everything while I was at work and my DD & DW were at the parks. You also don't have the loud lobby in the AM like the Beach Club has with the buffet people waiting to be seated. Make sure you go to Yachtmans since it has easily one of the best steaks on the property.

Thank you for the feedback. I think much to the chagrin of my DW and DD, I am leaning YC as well. I would, however, still love to go back to the CR

We just got back from YC and I have to say I'm glad we chose it over BC. The only advantage that I saw with BC was the fact that it has a counter service (QS) which was very useful during b'fast. HOWEVER, every time we walked over there the place was PACKED! Lobby, halls, sit down restaurant .. everything. The YC was always much less busy and we certainly appreciated that.

Obviously, if decor and other ancillary things are important to you then BC may be better, but from a logistical perspective we'd choose YC over BC.

In all honesty, this is one of the reasons that I am thinking YC as well. After being in over crowded parks, I truly would like a quieter stay. That was one of the things I loved most about CR. We were on the 10th floor, and it was so quiet, which was great after a long day at the parks.

November 2015 Beach Club will be right in the middle of its 20 month refurb soooo I'd choose YC but honestly you cant go wrong with either

We have stayed at both. For us the bus issue is why we go back to Yacht. Yacht is first on with the buses. There were many early mornings that the buses would pull up, we would load with few seats left then stop at Beach and leave people behind for the next bus. If we do stay at Beach I would walk through to Yacht for the buses. It's not a far walk. I do agree that Beach for some reason does tend to be a little more noisy. Both are nice resorts and we love the location to Epcot!

We have stayed with three girls and never felt out of place going to the pool in our cover ups.

We just got back on Saturday from our first stay at the YC and loved it. We've stayed at the BC 5 or 6 times and love that too, but we definately noticed it was much quieter and less frantic in the lobby than the BC. It's also nice that you know you'll get a decent balcony at the YC (we like to spend time out there in the morning and night, we watched Illuminations almost every night from ours) rather than the crap shoot that is the BC. Either way you can't go wrong!
