It's like being a Canadian who likes iced tea and visiting WDW... not the same thing here. Ours is pre-sweetened or something if that makes any sense. On our "Disneymoon" in 2012 I was at Boatwright's and thought I would try "sweet tea" thinking it would be like what we drink here in Ontario. NOT EVEN CLOSE. I was in shock! :jawdrop: The waitress had been watching me and I am sure saw the face I made and she started laughing and says "Ya'll are from the north?" My DH & I looked at each other... looked at her... and burst out laughing! :hilarious: Now I just order flavoured lemonades everywhere while we're visitng WDW... :cautious:
That's cause you don't sweeten *real* ice tea to begin with ;)

lol.. DW did the same thing. I was too mean to tell her "Iced Tea" is not the same as our "Nestea". Next time I'll tell her to wash it down with some Beverly. :p

Flame Tree is good BBQ along with the Smokehouse @ HOB in DTD. Between my wife and I we would get the chicken salad and the rib platters and split them between the 2 of us along with an order of their great onion rings. Flame Tree is good.

Farefax Fare and Cosmic Rays BBQ is not really that good IMHO. The ribs are appear to be steamed and then sauced before serving. The chicken seemed like it was roasted but the same process of saucing before serving. No rub or sauce during cooking to impart flavor into the meat.

Mickey's Backyard BBQ is not really that good since the ribs and chicken seemed to have the same process as Cosmic Ray's and Farefax. Did not enjoy Mickey's Backyard BBQ. It was poorly managed and just a free for all with the characters with parents pushing and shoving other kids. Did this once and will never again.

Cape May Cafe' BBQ options again have the same flavors and texture as Cosmic Ray's and Farefax but you are here for the seafood.

Whispering Canyon Cafe' BBQ was good in the past. Not as good as Flame Tree, but with the variety and having brisket, pulled pork, chicken, ribs and all the fixen's on the All You Care To Eat Skillet put this restaurant on the return list. Unfortunately the brisket is long gone from the menu, but there is a family platter of some BBQ favorite still available from the Whispering Canyon today.

Most kids would never know the different between ok BBQ and good BBQ, so try them all.
