I have been put into one of my annual moods of hyperfixating over America Sings, and then getting very sad that those animatronics won’t be used anymore. So behold: a animatronic show concept for Disneyland that brings them back.. sorta!
It’s called The Bayou Community Band Revue! (The name being based off TBA) Featuring some of the most iconic characters from America Sings and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. I see the show as featuring performances similar to the setup of Country Bear Jamboree: Each group gets a quick minute-long song, and then they all join together for a finale. I envision the music to be original (something like the vibe of ‘Special Spice’ or the opening to the Country Bear Musical Jamboree would work, but written for every performer. I’m too uncreative to write anything myself.)
As for its location, obviously it would fit best in Bayou Country. Looking at space, I’m not sure if they can build a whole new theater for it. Just saying though, Winnie the Pooh does have space for to fit two Country Bear-sized theaters, so put this in one and CBMJ in the other maybe??
Unfortunately I don’t have much ideas to share plot or script wise, I mostly just wanted to show off my photoshop that took me longer than I’d like to admit. Also of course worth mentioning that if they wanted the America Sings animatronics back, they could obviously just open a redone AS as like a Hall of Presidents replacement or something, but this seems more fun.
