Apple maps satellite view shows a beach to the east of the Bay Lake Tower Bay Cove Pool. Can guests access this beach? If so, where from?

The beach is not really a beach so much as a sandy area just outside the pool area at Bay Lake Tower. Access was through a gate behind the BLT pool water slide.
It was a nice place to kinda hang out and relax in a lounge chair, but that has been quite a while ago. I can't say if that area is still open or accessible now or not.

You can see the gate to the little beach area in this photo middle right between the water slide and hot tub but again, it has been a few years since we were there and I don't know if this area is still accessible.

Thank you for your responses. The beach looks unkempt in the 3D view above, plus no shoreline fence. Hmm.

Google maps seems to show a fence. Bing's map shows a more groomed beach too.

Mystery solved I think! A google street view near the fire pit from November shows a fence along the shore:

I saw the same fence that goes along the path too I think. I couldn't do street view in that area, but the shadows show on the path.
