Does anyone else think that the Bay Lake Tower shouldn't have necessarily connected to the Contemporary A-Frame. It's just that since I was down in August (23rd-31st), with the crowds like they were, it seemed the Grand Canyon Concourse's capacity was being stressed past it's original capacity.Take for example, the stress on the Monorail station. When I was down there, it was the first time in a long time that the monorail queue was full almost every hour of every day (for me anyways). They ended up having to use the separation corrals to load during one of the busier days. Another capacity being stressed is the elevator system. It was brutal trying to get an elevator up to our eleventh floor room because a crowd of lazy people would be trying to use the elevators to get down to the bus stop, instead of the escalators/stairs. Yes there is a rush to get to the buses, but I'm sure the crowd level could be cut in half if the Bay Lake Tower had their own bus stop. I understand that it wouldn't have made sense to get a separate monorail station for the Bay Lake Tower, but what about a separate bus station, and even perhaps its own restaurant. Just my two cents. I still like the general look and feel, but feel certain things could've been better implemented.
