We prefer T-Rex. I still get excited sitting with a bunch of cool dinosaur robots. Plus the ice room area is cool. I know we're only getting reheated frozen food, but expecting that, we can still have a lot of fun.

We have a Rainforest Cafe not too far from our home, so that probably plays into it too.

There is a Rainforest Café close to home here in Minnesota so our default choice would be T-Rex.

Say what you want about Rainforest & T- Rex..Yes they can be noisy, and yes, it's not fine dining, but the kids love these two restaurants at downtown. But having eaten twice at RF and once at Rex, we were not disappointed with our meals..However if I had to pick just one winner, it would be Rexy..So if you had to pick one only for a night out with the kids, which one would be your choice..Here was my battle against my T-Rex T-Bone..View attachment 34584

Whit!!!..Reheated frozen food...That's only in the Blue Ice cave section...My T- Bone was so fresh, I had to ask my server for a chainsaw to lop off the horns..

T-Rex for sure. Every time I've been to Rainforest the good is about average but the service has ALWAYS been HORRIBLE. Every time It seems our waiter forgets us for 30 minutes at a time even during slower shifts.

Man, some of you folks must be completely deaf....

Seriously, between the Army and working at the FedEx Memphis hub I've lost quite a bit of hearing and I have no trouble holding a conversation with the family when we go to these places. And as far as wait times, the service was right on track with every Disney restaurant except for San Angel Inn. Somehow, they had our steaks ready in like 5 minutes.

I loved the Gigantasaurus burger and almost finished it. Man that thing is a beast!! I think I'd have to give the edge to Rainforest Cafe simply because of the sparkling VOLLLLLL--CAAAANNNOOOOOO.....
