Bars/Lounges on a couples trip

A lot of comments mentioning Dahlia Lounge, can I ask what makes it so great? We've never been to that resort before.

It's all about the views if you are sitting outside. You are at the top of the Gran Destino Tower and you can see all of DHS and Epcot and a good distance beyond that. You are able to watch the fireworks and lights from those parks if you are there when they go off. It is just a great space to chill and relax with a good drink or a small bite.

Here is a good breakdown of the bar:

Beautiful setting. Fantastic views, including seating out on the rooftop deck, if weather permits. Good selection of tapas that are perfect for sharing and snacking. Also solid cocktail selection - they focus on gin and tonics but have other offerings. The resort as a whole is fun to explore.

It really depends on where you are going to be. I wouldn't necessarily make a "special" trip to any of them as there a good ones all over the resort and with enough time you'll eventually run across them. However, if you find yourself:

In FW - Crockett's Tavern
CSR - Dahlia (as has been mentioned)
POR - River Roost
EPCOT - La Cava, Rose & Crown
DHS - Tune In Lounge
GF - Citrico's

Disney Springs is a whole different ecosystem. Many good ones there.

Have enjoyed Tutto Gusto once a year from 2004 till 2020 (yes, even during the height of Covid) however, in November 2021 it was another story, they were not letting guests in unless you were planning to eat a meal from Tutto Italia. So, unless they've gotten back cultural representation from Italy now, I'm planning to not bother this year. Gone were the days of a charcuterie spread and a wine flight for a bowl of spaghetti.

Abracadabar for us was meh...
Jellyrolls is way better if you're in that area.
I second LaCava, it used to be easier to just pop into and get a few shots and chips salsa
I also really like Ogas Camtina for some fun drinks and setting and having Drinks anywhere in the Asia section of DAK is always fun.
As for where you are staying the pool bar is nice too.

I have great memories of River Roost, sitting by the fire at Christmas time with a glass of wine while Bob plays in the background.
