Currently they are going at it with a large excavator, a skid steer and other equipment. In my opinion it looks like they are in a heck of a hurry so I remain hopeful the wall will be gone by june.

It took almost two months to demolish the BAH. That's a "heck of a hurry"?

If you want new experiences, which we all do, then walls are a necessary evil. Things like construction walls or certain ride effects not working only affect your trip as much as you let them. If you want to focus on all those things, then of course they'll bother you.

The BAH isn't the only thing going on in DHS. That one may or may not be gone, but, there is other activity, like Toy Story expansion and depending on what level they are at with that, might have walls in Pixar Place.
Ah, good point. I think the ones by GMR should be down, though, right?

He wasn't be rude, he was just providing information based on what you asked. It was pretty clear from your post that you are bothered by construction walls. If this is the case then he is correct, you will have a problem at AK since it has more construction walls then any park at the moment.

Yup, it certainly is. If you look at the pictures shown recently where it appears that none of the railings have been damaged just imagine how precise they had to be to get tons of steel down without doing any damage to the area below. Blowing things up maybe the fastest way to knock it down, but then you'd have two months of cleaning up the tiny little pieces and rebuilding what other things you destroyed in the process.

I wish I knew. It depends a great deal on what they are planning to do, right now, in that area. I can tell you this, the theater is now visible from the head of the street and that alone is a 1000% improvement. If all they are going to do is make it a little quiet area for a while, they may come down.

You don't get any more considerate than providing fellow WDW fans good info that may be helpful to them. New to DISCUSSION forums, I presume.

The responder was only replying to your question. Please be considerate when responding to a response.

So back to those walls that will be there in June.... :)

I cant think of a single visit that didnt have wall SOMEWHERE to hide construction or refurbs.

Parks this size with this many shops, resurants and rhpides will ALWAYS have something happening.

I DO feel your frustration about MK and HS because the hub and the hat are the center focal points upon entry. It's like that big freaking crane that hovers above the castle almost every time we go.

......not much Disney can do about though. They try their best to hide everything with..... well.... walls.
