My Festival of the Lion King video is now available on #Disney-Central. It has been converted to .avi and thanks to SirLamer can be found on !amervidio. Navigate to Orlando > Animal Kingdom > Festival of the Lion King where you will find the file Festival of the Lion King by Barnum 42.avi

Enjoy

*EDIT* As per Dolbyman's message below you can also find it on his server

For those new to Disney Cental check out the guide on http://www.wdwresorttv.com/index_guides.htm

There is also a thread on here at http://www.wdwresorttv.com/index_guides.htm

However the settings have changed a little that thread started.

Essentially you need to download a program called Mirc that allows you to connect to the PCs that have the files on. It is not that user friendly a program, so also installing Invision makes life a lot easier - though you still need to manually configure the whole caboodle - telling it how to connect to Disney Central and what file extensions you will allow it to automatically download.

I had to read the instructions three or four times (before Invision came along) to get the hang of it.

With Invision installed and you connected to DisneyCentral trype !list to see what servers are online at the time. You can then use the Invision interface to click and navigate to the location of the file you wish to download. Double click on the file and then if you are at the front of the queue it will start to transfer to your PC, if not it will tell you how far down the queue you are.

Without invision you have to navigate in a method similar to DOS, but it will timeout if you do not make an input in 30 seconds, something Invision prevents.

It may seem a lot of work, but once you get your head around what is happening, it's fairly straight forward.

Ok..... I got as far as joining Disney Central......

I typed !list like it told me to......

Nothing happened. :brick:
I'm guessing you either joined at a moment when it blipped, or your connection detaills are somewhow not correct. Double check the settings. I found mine had an irritating habit of losing the correct settings.

When you connected could you see a list of the members currently online?

Are you running MIRC on it's own, or are you using the Invision plug in?

One time I saw a name other than mine on the list.

I'm using the plug in.

I agree with Dolbyman - check Tools > Options > Connect > Servers. Make sure IRC Network = IRCHighway and IRC Server = IRCHighway: Random server.

You can also try Tools> Channel List. In the Match text box put "Disney" and hit get list, it should show you Disney Central, which you can click on to get to it. If not there is still something out of whack in your settings.

The other thing to check is that you have the right version of Invision for Mirc that you are using. First time I tried Invision it was for a slightly different version and so did not work.

you do it like in former dos times with "cd [directory]" ;"dir" ... "Get [Filename]" (you can also type "help" in my server to get that info

or you install invision and use the fserve explorer (like a windows explorer...very easy) :animwink:

What Dolby said :D

As you have Invision you can navigate around in a manner not totally unlike Windows Explorer.

Enjoy
