If it has a VISA or a M/C logo on it then it will work just like any other credit card. If it is strictly an ATM card then the ATM machine you are using would have to be on that network. You bank should be able to tell you what machines are on their network.

I don't know.. I looked at mine and it does not have either logo on the back. But I would think that you could use it as VISA debit whereever they take VISA. But I am not sure that you can use it to get cash out of the ATM machines.

You may want to call the card company.

you can use it at ATM machines (cashpoint), and for most merchants that accept PIN-Based transactions, but nowhere else.

Debit cars in the US, generally have a Visa/MC logo, rather than the others.

It sounds like it is just an ATM card. In that case you will have to take cash out at an ATM which can potentially have a number off fees added to it. You might want to inquire with your bank about a Check card. A check card is a VISA card that is connected to your checking account. You can use it just like a credit card and avoid all of those nasty ATM fees.

you have the same card as me and yes you can use it at any of the disney resorts coz on the ATM's it has the cirrus/maestro sign. i havent used mine over there yet but check with your bank about how much they will charge you for taking money out in the USA my bank said it would cost me £2.50 every $100 i took out. just check with your bank.

Not only will your bank charge you for taking money out from another location, but that ATM machine will charge you as well. So you will be hit with a fee twice. I think the last time I took money out at Epcot which was many moons ago, the fee was $5 which is totally outrageous.

Most of the european Debit cards have cirrus & Maestro on the back... You'll have no problem with them in ATM's escept for the disney ones... in other words they don't work in the ATMs on the Walt Disney Resort areas... not even Downtown Disney

The closest "usable" ATM for your card is on Cross Roads...

You are best advised to call Disney Reservations and check. My best friend's ATM card from France DID NOT WORK. If the new UK solo or switch cards have the embedded computer chip in them like the French ones do, then they will not work in the ATM's. To make it easy on yourself, if you have a visa, mastercard, or Discover card, you can link it to your roomkey and then use your roomkey as a debit/credit card throughout the park - your credit card will be charged the amount, but your roomkey is usable pretty much everywhere. STILL - please check with Disney as to wether your ATM card will work there or not.
