Hi gang..

I'm curious to hear if anyone here has seen "Bambi II". I have'nt heard much about it, and my interest in seeing it was sitrred recently. Before plunking down my hard earned cash though...i thought it would be wise to ask the core audience ( serious Disney Fans!) if this film is worth getting and watching.

I'm not a huge fan of sequels, exspecially these Direct-to-Video-cheapy remakes of Classic Disney animated films. However, there are a couple i did enjoy quite a bit, namely, the two Lion King sequels and "Return to Neverland".

So is "Bambi II" any good? Is the animation better then average like the above examples were or is it televison grade crapola?

Thanks for any reviews everyone.....

I've heard it's fantastic...I haven't personally seen it, but Andreas Deja is the supervising animator on Bambi and by that piece of information alone I bought it...haven't watched it, but it's here....I'll get around to it when I'm finally done with all this crazy homework (why did I return to college at age 29 again for?).

In case you are wondering who Andreas Deja is...he animated...Roger Rabbit, Gaston, Scar, Lilo, Jafar and a bunch of other really well know Disney folks. He is one half of Disneys top two animators....

I'm not a huge fan of the sequels either, and I enjoyed Bambi II. I don't know if it's still there, but the Bambi II website used to have a ten-minute-clip (not a trailer, a clip) from the movie. I watched it before buying the DVD, and I thought it was funny and cute. The animation was fairly good for a direct-to-DVD sequel, and I thought the voices were decently cast. All-in-all, I thought it was one of the more enjoyable of the Disney sequels.

Just my two cents!
