Balzac to leave?

I'm sorry but this is the funniest thread I've read in a while. I guess its true what they say about guys (meaning me) never growing up.
I just can't believe they actually went with the company name "Balzac". No one thought it might be an issue? That's almost as bad as opening an attraction called MILF.

It's not just the guys who aren't growing up - I'm a sitting at work laughing so loud they stopped in to see what was so funny and when I said Balzacs they just slowly backed away :lookaroun :ROFLOL: :ROFLOL:

With closing an operation like that in a place as large as Disney, that's really going to hit Balzaks hard. That's gotta hurt them.

I mean if you really think about it, where else other than Disney would you see someone throwing large balls out into a crowd and people smacking them back to you. I guess maybe at a concert.

It's too bad that they'll be closing, but like anything else, once it's been around a while it get's old and just shrivels up and goes away, Balzacs would be no different.

So an old balzac just shrivels up and goes away. Always wondered what happened to them. So many people I work with that just don't seem to have a balzac anymore. :ROFLOL:

OK, I'll try to stop now. Really I will. Really.

I know i'm going to get laughed at for this, but...What exactly IS a Balzac? Clearly not a store that sells the collected works of Honore de Balzac (which as a lit major was my first thought). Image Googling disney world balzac didn't turn up any answers, and googling Balzak...well let's just say it gave me the wrong definition.

My best guess it that they are balloons or ball/balloons?

Anyone remember that SNL skit with Alec Baldwin playing a chocolatier whose last name was Shweaty and he sold truffle-nut like things that he called balls?

So your saying that someone hit you with their really big balzac huh? And that hitting someone with your balzac should get you in trouble with management. Where I'm from I think it would actually result in criminal charges being filed. Also, from what I see here it would seem like everyone was walking around playing with their balzacs. I find it hard to believe that everyone would be doing this. Maybe half of the people there but certainly not all of them. :ROFLOL:
