I decided to go see Bad Santa today after I went and saw HM. I got in for only $3 so it wasn't too bad and I didn't waste that much money.
The movie is bad. There are some funny parts, but nothing too great and these moments are outweighed by other material.
People coming out weren't saying many good things about it, although there were about 100 people there.
The plot had some promise. Alcoholic safecracker, dressed as Santa, finally meets kid, starts to turn his life around somewhat.
The thing that killed the movie was the excessive cursing (almost every line) and drinking (has bottle with him in Santa's chair). The $exual content wasn't too bad, it was just too much cursing and drinking.
If the film had cut out some of the drinking and cursing scenes, and had Santa reform more, the movie wouldn't have been too bad.
At least I came out of it feeling better about my life.

Wow, that's alot. It's up there with Goodfellas and South Park: Bigger Longer and Uncut!
