Check the #Disney-Central thread in the Multimedia forum

With a little work, you should easily be able to get the loops from the Polynesian, Wilderness Lodge, and Port Orlenas Riverside.

Sadly, I haven't seen any other loops available online. I would love to hear the Y&B Club loops, as well as AKLodge, and the Grand Floridian.

The lobby, the food court, the bathrooms, the pool areas, etc... They usually pipe the music into any public areas, to keep with the themeing.

Do you know where I can find the music from the Polynesian, Google has let me down. Thanks

I think this is one of the reasons I'll will probably never stay at Port Orleans. It's nice on occasion, but all the time would be a little painful. It's always in the same key (G if anyone wants to know), and it always sounds the same. Even Cajun dancers and musicians can only listen to this stuff a couple of nights a week.

But, I guess that's part of Disney: Immerse you in a place that seems real, but is very far from it.

My personal favorite is the loop at Boardwalk. My company has a conference there every year that I work. I asked the AV Manager about the loop and if it was available anywhere. He showed me that he had the CDs for just about all of the major loops right in his office. But, alas, he was an honest sort. I couldn't convince him to slip the Boardwalk loop into my computer bag. He did check around and found that the Boardwalk one was not available anywhere for purchase.

Disney may have an untapped market here if they should choose to take it. But, since most of the music on these loops is non-disney (just a collection of works by various other artists), putting the rights together to allow them to sell the loops could be a daunting task. Though, in the case of the 1940's era music on Boardwalk's I imagine that the copyright holders would stand to make more money off of royalties than they have seen in quite while.
