Wow! It seemed so far off back in the 1980s! I didn't realize it was only 2015. I guess it's like Prince's song 1999 seemed so far off when it first came out and now it's the past!

I always thought it wasn't set far enough into the future.... but they needed Marty to still be in his 40's/50's for the movie so I guess they we're kinda tied.

Yeah, it does. $270 or so. The Front-of-the-Line perk doesn't matter to me.

I'm curious how much time you spend on the soundstages and backlot sets, because those would be most interesting to me.

There's also tours at Paramount, WB, and Sony that are more reasonably priced -- but I don't know how they compare to Uni's.

The WB tour is $50, if you want to check that out. As you can see, it's much cheaper, but of course there are no attractions to see. The Paramount tour is $50 too, I think.

We're all getting so old.

I remember when this was brand new with a positively enormous line filling the entire queue line below the ramps in front of the building, TVs everywhere showing the Doc, Huey Lewis and the Enchantment Under the Sea dance music blasting on loudspeakers...

BTTF is still possibly the longest I've ever lined up for an attraction...

I remember In the early-mid 90's lining up for almost 3 hours for it.

And BTTF's present is now as far in the past as the past was in BTTF. It's still a movie that can be enjoyed by all, though, which says a lot about what a great movie it is.

The ride, though...I liked it. It was okay. But I wasn't sorry when they closed it.

I had told my younger brother while planning for our first trip about the ride, when he had been an avid fan of the series, and when we got there, we asked where it was. Oh, it was replaced by the Simpsons? That was very disapointing. :( Any reasson why they did close it?

I remember that too. One of the last times I actually rode BTTF, there was hardly any wait.
