Got back from a nice long weekend at Disney and man it stinks already. It's back to realty. I hadn't thought about work since Thursday afternoon. I love my job don't get me wrong, but I enjoy Disney like no other place. It was a great time with the wife and kids. My trip was only a few days, but I do it that way so I can go a few times a year and I wanted to get another one in before the summer blackout on my seasonal pass. I just can't believe it's over. I spent two months waiting for it and it's over already. Just needed to vent. Thanks for listening everyone.

Sounds like you may be a good candidate for a few digital photo frames. Keep the memories on constant rotation at home and at the office. :)

I hear you. I am at the just over a month and a half to go. And I love it, but know that as soon as it is over I will be in this whole I am not back denial. Yep. I feel your pain....the only thing I can say is hang in there...and you are not alone. Not in the least.

So...how was it? :) (I always like to read trip reports, even if brief and in point form.)

I just got back as well and was completely impressed with how fantastic the parks looked, not to mention how much fun Star Wars weekends were.

Sigh, not going back until December...

I know I am not alone, that's why I come on here. Sometimes I don't consider this a forum but rather a support group. This is our AA. I know the next trip is not too far away but still. I'll be ok as I get back into my routine of work, kids and daily life. This time was harder because things have been hard around here, so it was hard to swing this trip but the wife and I knew we needed it. We needed to get away even if it was just for 3 or 4 days. Reality bites.

The parks were great. They were crowded but we got in there bright and early and rode what we wanted, so it was a great experience. I was hoping to see more of the new Fantasyland than just the Great Goofini. Even though I didn't ride it the Fantasyland Trainstation looked great. Didn't notice any broken animatronics on Splash. The Zipa Dee Lady was working fine. There were a few spots where there wasn't much light. I wonder if that's something some of our forum friends are complaining about. The only thing not working was leaping water. Other than that it was good. EPCOT was also great. Soarin' had a 140 minute wait, but I got there early and got my fastpasses. Universe of Energy broke down as we got on but other than EPCOT was great. Star Tours was great. I have been on it 4 times and have had a different trip each time. Really love that. Overall another great Disney trip with the family. Hopefully the fall gets here quick, so I can return.

I was there at the end of February, so I'm going through withdraws. I'm a closet fanatic so I don't get ridiculed by my friends and family. My 12 year old son is the only one in my family of 5 that likes Disney as much as I do and I'm 40.

Disney was the first vacation my parents ever took me and my 3 sibling on growing up. It was 1977 and it was the best memory of my really terrible childhood.

It would be another 28 years before I returned to Disney with my own family in 2005. It brought tears to my eyes seeing MK again. Now we go twice a year. I have even left my 17 year old son at home because he don't like going anymore. Sorry, I get a little emotional about my childhood and our trips to Disney. I need to buy annual passes.
