Oh... and now that I have my pictures and am happy again, I can start working on my trip report! Hahaha Is it sad that one of the first things I was upset about was the fact that I would no longer have all the pictures for my trip report?!

Yay!!!! I would have thought the exact same thing! Haha!

Does anyone know of any software or secret to retrieve pictures off a memory card that is giving an error message?

I have had great success with RescuePro Deluxe, its made by San Disk, a flash card maker ... it has worked almost every time for me.
