Back from a week at the World!

Hey Ya'll!!

Big Al's Gal & I are back from the happiest place on earth! We did well, everything in our week at the world (I have the sore feet to prove it), so if you want to know anything, feel free to ask! We went to every park for 2 days except Animal Kingdom and covered a lot of ground.

I'll go ahead and give you our biggest complaints and joys!

Complaints-->
1. The rain on NYE when we were at Epcot
2. The RUDE people that stopped in front of you dead in their tracks every 2 seconds no matter where you were
3. The fact that NO ONE but my family seemed to speak english
4. The bus drivers that weren't very magical! "If you can see any small piece of the floor between your feet and the persons feet in front of you, MOVE! I know that you all are skinnier than that! MOVE!" (I'm not joking... that was just one person...)

Joys!-->
1. Every single CM! Hats off to each and every one of you guys!
2. The beautiful fireworks on NYE @ Epcot. What a great presentation!
3. The nice woman in the Rockin Roller Coaster FastPass line that gave away her fast passes to me and Big Al's Gal! That made my day.
4. Having a CM just give me a Figment pin because he said I was beautiful!!

People stopping every 2 seconds is a common thing when there are crowds... I hate it! But such is life... sometimes, wanting it or not, I AM one of those who stop to look at a flower or so, not caring if I have people walking behind me.... hehe :animwink:

You and Darrel mentioned that there were tourists from all over, where were they from? What were they speaking? I hope cast members complained about the same to their managers and see if Disney hires more of us, foreigners who speak something else than English! hehehe

To answer your question Maria it seemed like there were alot of oriental tourists and spanish speaking tourists,I swear I hardly heard anyone speak english! :lol:
I felt like a minority in my own country!

I've got less than two weeks!

Did you notice if "Backstage Pass" was open? It was closed last year, and I'm not sure if they still have it or have replaced it with Who Wants to be a Millionaire. Also did you notice what they had in the little museum at the end of the "Catastrophe Canyon tour"? (last year they had dresses from movies and Ryan was very disappointed).

Well it was open when I was there,but we didn`t get a chance to go on it.

As far as I remember they still had up Madonna's "Richard" Tracy costume, but there were also some Star Wars costumes (like MAN costumes, not dresses) and such like that too! Not JUST dresses. I know that can be boring.

Well, I have NO idea what they were speaking. All you could make out was "blahblahblah FASTPASS blahblahblah MAGIC KINGDOM blahblahblah TESTTRACK" But, in the park maps now, there is a little box that said translation assistants are now available for french, deutch, spanish, and something else...

Have these always been around??

Oh, one thing I forgot to post under complaints was that on NYE Test Track was broken down for most of the a.m. Hours later after they fixed it, the heavens opened up and the rain rain rain came down down down...

We're going again in February...hope it doesn't rain too much like it did on you at NYE! We usually go in September and expect it then.

I was wondering that myself!! haha :lol: That one was the rudest, and it was a woman. The others were all men though.
