Day #5 our last day at Disneyland. This will be a few posts as we did a lot that day.

My sister had decided that she was going to get my kids in to see Anna and Elsa despite the 4 hour lines. We had hour early entry to DL and so we got up early loaded all our luggage into the mini van as we were changing houses and headed over. We dropped my sister off 10 minutes before early entry and went to park. This time it was the parking garage as Toy Story lot wasn't open yet. We parked all the way at the top in Minnie Mouse-

There was a tram waiting for us and the kid view the tram as a ride so they were excited. We got to the gates about 8:20 and had about a 10 minute wait to get in.

My sister was about 20 people back in line and the M&G had already started even though the DL website said it opened at 9 (official park opening). We waited about 15 minutes to see Anna and Elsa. It was amazing how many people had no clue about the long wait for the sisters. People would try to walk up tot he doors to be told it was about a 2 hour wait and pointed to the line that was just continuing to grow.

The girls playing Anna and Elsa were wonderful. Lily ran right up and hugged Anna but was a little timid around Elsa. Alec wanted nothing to do with either of them. Comparing boots -

The CM running the inside of the room was nice and let us wait a a few guests to see if Alec would warm up to the girls but he didn't so we moved on. The park still was not officially open yet. My mom had a one day one park ticket so she wasn't in the park yet.

We hit the carousel and the Sleeping Beauty Walk through. Peter Pan was already over and hour so that was skipped. Now the park was officially opening and people were running in to see Anna and Elsa only to be told it was a 4 hour wait. We rode Snow White and Pinocchio and then my mom got to FL.

We headed to Casey Junior. Alec needed to use the restroom so a ran him over. When we got back they were just about to board and I didn't feel like making my way through the line so I just handed Alec over the rail to my mom and skipped the ride personally.

We did the Tea Cups next and headed over toward Toon Town. It was still a few minutes before opening and Merida had a short line so we went to meet her. Lily heard the Scottish music which she took to be Irish music so she was practicing her dancing in line. When we got up to Merida, Lily decided she needed to teach Merida a few steps.

IASW was sadly closed but were were able to get some cute pictures since there was no people in line to block the view.

Toon Town -

My kids were very excited to visit Toon Town. The idea of visiting Mickey's house etc. was very appealing to them. Goofy and Minnie came out to open the gates and lead guests into the area.

We hit Roger Rabbit first - one of my mom's favorites! Then it was over to Mickey's house the sign out front said 20 minutes but judging by the time stamps on my pictures it took about 35.

Let me tell you it seemed like a lot longer. Alec was very antsy until we got to the movie room were he happily stared at video screens. Once we got to Mickey I was disappointed no PP photographer -The lighting was weird in there so my pictures didn't turn out quite right.

Next was Minnie's House. Minnie had an outdoor line listed at 20 minutes as well so I sent my mom and sister off with the kids to explore Toon Town while I waited in line.

My sister thought it was funny Alec didn't know how a phone worked. We only have cell phones in our house so she had to show him how it worked.

Minnie's wait was exactly 20 minutes we were set loose inside her house to explore there were maybe 4 other families inside with us. When the kids were done exploring we went straight out to the garden to meet Minnie.

and it was lunch time. I did not want to eat in Toon Town so we headed to our next destination Frontierland and Tom Sawyer Island another thing on my kid's must do list.

Thanks for sharing. Looks like you had a wonderful time. My family and I have never been to Disneyland, only Disney World. Reading your trip report and seeing the photos makes me want to visit. I look forward to the rest of your trip report.

Frontierland and Tom Sawyer Island.

We made our way back through Fantasyland into Frontierland. We were thinking of the BBQ but it was a buffet so the price was too high since my kids wouldn't eat enough to justify the cost. We decided to try Harbor Galley - there is a nice little seating area hidden around the back and we were able to get up close to the Columbia that was docked there.

We tried the Lobster Roll and Shrimp Stuffed Baked Potato both were good for CS. Then we headed over to the boats to the Island. I hadn't been over to TSI in about 20 years but my kids were very excited to do exploring. I enjoyed all the pirate elements they have added the kids had a great time. You could almost forget you were at Disneyland.

We spent about 45 minutes running around before it was time to head back. The kids were getting tired so we decided to head out. But of course heading out took over and hour.
