Day #5 our last day at Disneyland. This will be a few posts as we did a lot that day.
My sister had decided that she was going to get my kids in to see Anna and Elsa despite the 4 hour lines. We had hour early entry to DL and so we got up early loaded all our luggage into the mini van as we were changing houses and headed over. We dropped my sister off 10 minutes before early entry and went to park. This time it was the parking garage as Toy Story lot wasn't open yet. We parked all the way at the top in Minnie Mouse-
There was a tram waiting for us and the kid view the tram as a ride so they were excited. We got to the gates about 8:20 and had about a 10 minute wait to get in.
My sister was about 20 people back in line and the M&G had already started even though the DL website said it opened at 9 (official park opening). We waited about 15 minutes to see Anna and Elsa. It was amazing how many people had no clue about the long wait for the sisters. People would try to walk up tot he doors to be told it was about a 2 hour wait and pointed to the line that was just continuing to grow.
The girls playing Anna and Elsa were wonderful. Lily ran right up and hugged Anna but was a little timid around Elsa. Alec wanted nothing to do with either of them. Comparing boots -
The CM running the inside of the room was nice and let us wait a a few guests to see if Alec would warm up to the girls but he didn't so we moved on. The park still was not officially open yet. My mom had a one day one park ticket so she wasn't in the park yet.
We hit the carousel and the Sleeping Beauty Walk through. Peter Pan was already over and hour so that was skipped. Now the park was officially opening and people were running in to see Anna and Elsa only to be told it was a 4 hour wait. We rode Snow White and Pinocchio and then my mom got to FL.
We headed to Casey Junior. Alec needed to use the restroom so a ran him over. When we got back they were just about to board and I didn't feel like making my way through the line so I just handed Alec over the rail to my mom and skipped the ride personally.
We did the Tea Cups next and headed over toward Toon Town. It was still a few minutes before opening and Merida had a short line so we went to meet her. Lily heard the Scottish music which she took to be Irish music so she was practicing her dancing in line. When we got up to Merida, Lily decided she needed to teach Merida a few steps.
IASW was sadly closed but were were able to get some cute pictures since there was no people in line to block the view.
