Bachelorette Weekend Suggestions

Hi Everyone! We are currently planning my future sister in laws bachelorette weekend for probably next January. There will be 5 of us including the bride with some of us being pass holders and some are not. We are definitely budget conscience but also want it to be special.

Looking for some suggestions on resorts and also some suggestions on special things to do. The bride is an annual pass holder so we were looking for some different things to do. Maybe some dinner shows, special restaurants, etc.

Thank you in advance!!!

How do you imagine the group will want to spend the weekend -- enjoying wine around World Showcase, riding Splash Mountain ten times in a row, lounging by the resort pool, or hitting a water park? I would suggest a moderate resort (a good choice if you want to easily fit multiple adults in each room -- mods have queen beds and double sinks and coffeemakers, whereas the values do not, and you can request connecting rooms if you want to keep the group close ) that is nearest the park(s) where you plan to spend most of your time. Beyond that, it all depends on the personal tastes of the bride and her friends. Would they enjoy the slapstick humor of the Hoop-de-Doo Revue? Shopping at DS and watching the Irish dancers at Raglan Road? Reliving their childhood with a princess character meal (Akershus is a better deal than Cinderella's Royal Table), savoring something a little more upscale at one of the signature restaurants, or just diving into the kitchen sink (a giant ice cream sundae) at Beaches and Cream?

Candidly, I was a pretty laid-back bride, and my idea of a perfect day would have been a day at the Magic Kingdom, followed by dinner at 'Ohana or the Hoop-de-Doo Musical Revue, and maybe a couple of drinks in the resort lounge or poolside with my friends. But that's just me!

That will be so fun! I'm in the middle of planning a bachelorette party for one of my best friends the end of April!
There are 9 of us, so we are staying in a 2 BR villa in Old Key West that we can all fit in.
My friend's only request was as much princess time as she can get, and wearing her Minnie bride ears down Main Street :)
Everyone gets in different times on Friday, so we have a late dinner Friday night at O'hana, and should be able to catch Wishes from the Poly too.
Saturday we have a late princess breakfast at Akershus, then plan to spend the day around EPCOT's World Showcase, followed by the 8:30 Hoop Dee Doo (a personal favorite that I think everyone will enjoy!) Then maybe going to Disney Springs or The Boardwalk, but likely going back to the resort for some bachelorette fun.
Sunday will be all day at Magic Kingdom, with lunch at Be Our Guest and dinner at The Plaza Restaurant.

We tried to pick things that were easy, fun, and manageable for groups, and stuff that everyone will like!

Have you considered renting one of the DVC units? Or perhaps going concierge level?
Not sure if you're picking up the bride's portion of the accomodations, but I'm thinking it might be a manageable cost divided by 4 or 5. If concierge level, y'all wouldn't have to buy breakfast and could have an afternoon cocktail with the hors d'oeuvres...
I would check out the posts about concierge level and dvc.
You ladies could certainly have a great time "noshing" around the world showcase and having a few of the countries specialty drinks.
Spend time on the poly beach (you don't have to be staying there), get some snacks and watch the fireworks.
Perhaps book an IllumiNations cruise (the boats hold 10) and have a bottle of champagne with the snacks while watching the show.
Honestly anything you guys do, she will probably love!
But as pp said, I would certainly get her the bride mouse ears. Buy them in advance and have her name embroidered on them so she can wear them immediately!
Ohhh, what fun you're going to have!

Thanks for the suggestions everyone! The only request the bride has is that we have dinner in France one night! We are actually making everyone ears themed to their fav married princess! (the MOH thought of that super cute idea)

There are some really great passholder specials right now for villas so I'm hoping for the same next year ;)

Really depends on the type of party feel you are looking for. Plenty of new locations to hit up, maybe a visit to Trader Sams? You can bar hop at Disney Springs, or country hop in Epcot. I did see a bachelorette party in Rainforest Cafe the other week, that seemed to be a strange choice.
