Baby Bjorn carriers and Disney

What are the thoughts on "Baby Bjorn" style baby carriers and a day in the parks (in late September)? Would it be hot for the baby?

It seems like an easy way to go for part of the day anyways. Has anyone ever tried it? How'd it go?

Maybe early in the morning or at night when it is cooler? I would think it may get to hot for them. Just my opinion because my kids were older when they went for the first time. Good luck.

I took one when my son was 5 months old. It was July and way too hot to use it. I ended up leaving it in the room. It wouldn't hurt to pack it if you have the room. That way you can decided when you are there.

I used one in early May one year. DD was 10 months old. I only used it on rides - she was in the carriage the rest of the time with a shade and the water bottle/fan.

I went in early May and brought my Bjorn, I have the breathable fabric. I used it once, it was too hot for me and my little guy. We both had to change our clothes. He did better in the stroller with the fan and air circulation. If you have room in your luggage you can try it, but if you are tight for space that would be the first item to cross off the list.

I think it's a horrible idea to decide that you won't take your baby if he doesn't in your luggage. Then again, we usually have our kids sit in seats on the plane.

Agree with the above posters. Went in October with our 7 month old in a bjorn, weather was 90+ with 99% humidity, wearing the little one on the front meant both child and adult were soaked in 5-10 min.

Now, our bjorn was also able to be worn at hip-level and to the side (somewhat hard to explain), that seemed to work better, but still only used it sparingly. Stroller + fan was the order of the day most times.
