Got 6pm Thursday tickets in Cinemark XD! Anyone had an experience with XD before? This will be my first time, but I heard it's basically the same as IMAX Digital, which is where I usually go.

So I guess multiple websites (AMC and fandango are 2) went down due to the ticket demand for presales. There are reports that the presale record went down in 6 hours. If this movie is acceptable it may break every box office record.

I saw one of the new Star Wars movies in XD (I think it was Rogue One), and it was pretty great to watch in that format.

i don’t know if this compares to cinemark xd, image wise, but i remember watching the 1st hobbit movie in disney springs in HFR (high frame rate) a few years ago.
the image quality was amazing. very lifelike, as if you’re actually there. i haven’t seen it around ever since.

My GF and I watched a whole bunch last night as well. I do like "Hey everybody, it's Charlie" on Emergency Awesome myself. his ability to push the hype machine for both Marvel and Game of Thrones stuff is pretty good.

okay, saw Infinity wars in IMAX, but my son and I are seeing Endgame on the 26th in dolby. curious to see how much difference it was. Funny thing, I was home yesterday and today sick, and spent the whole day for AMC to come back up, I finally ordered on Fandango, and 5 mins later AMC was back up...go figure.

With my son on spring break the week of the movie, we are talking doing the full replay of all, but that is a LOOOONNNNGGGG time to sit in a theater. Yikes!

Russos are refusing to comment on how many credits scenes there are, so be prepared to just sit around for 10-15 minutes after the movie.

So 5 mins into credits for mid-credit scene, then another 15 mins for post credit scene, so yeah about 20 mins I'd say...
