Avatars is this the place to ask?

How do you get those cute avatars for your name. I have only been offered the Epcot with the wand. Since I have never been there yet i would just like a Character or something. Can someone advise where to get them and how?:lookaroun May not be the place to ask but could't find any other place to ask. If it is wrong please just say so or where I need to go to do so.

I would just do a search on the internet for Disney Avatars. Once you find one you like, save it, and then upload it in your User CP.
Or if you have a certain request, I have loads of avatars saved. I could send you one.

if you have any pictures on your pc you can use those, on the user cp bit above change you avatar by browsing your pictures (where ever you store them ) and choose which one you want to use ..hope this helps...

This is as good a place as any! :lol:

What I do is find a photo or piece of clip art that I like and then save it to the hard drive (I have a file just for avatars). Go to the User CP (top left corner) and on the control panel you will see Edit Avatar, click on that. Go down to custom avatar and then hit browse and find the picture you saved and upload. There is a file size limit so you may have to resize. Good luck! :wave:

Well I did that but didn't find a good place to pick one from. I will keep trying when I get some time Right now I am supposed to be working painting some orders that our customers will give as Santa gifts so better get back to it. Will check later thanks again so much

I find mine on Google Images. Or Yahoo Images.

Once you get an image you like take it into Photoshop or similar program and edit/add what you want and then save it as an appropriate size for your avatar and upload it!

This is the requirement listed in the User CP....The maximum size of your custom image is 160 by 110 pixels or 19.5 KB (whichever is smaller).

Try googling your favourite character. Mine is actually from a photo I took from the new castle stage show Dream Along with Mickey on my trip in 2006. we were lucky enough to be right up next to the stage and I just took picture after picture, especially when the princesses came out and I managed to get quite a few really niced ones of Cinderella and this one (my avatar is my favourite). I actually got a really cute one of Minnie doing a "Superstar" impression too.

The default avatar on this site needs to be updated now that the wand on SSE is gone.

Thanks so much I will try myself then and if not iheartdisney91 I will let you do just that. I do have to agree the epcot one should be changed and besides that its not bright and cheerful.. I want color, isn't that what Disney is all about, color and magic...........
