Avatar Problem

I decided to change my avatar this morning but when I try to change it, I am just given one of the pictures from the gallery in the change avatar screen (nice touch btw!). But I am unable to upload a picture from my pc.

I am sure the answer is "yes" but am I being dumb or something?

Can you tell me how you were being dumb, because I can't make it work either.

I have previously made it work on another board using vBulletin with no problems.

EDIT: Scratch that. Just realised that if you browse to the image on your HDD it removes the YES and you have to re choose the YES option.
