Yeah, I know, but it was grainy so I tried to see if I could make one a little clearer. Hope I didn't offend you. I certainly wasn't trying to.

You most certainly didn't. :D

And I must admit, most of my original graphics I make are very grainy.

Hi ACE! The avatars you create are very nice. I think I would enjoy making some myself. I thought about buying Microsoft Picture It Digital Image Pro 7.0 because I understand it is a very good program. Do you have any experience with this program or any recommendations as to what program works the best for a hobby type person? From what I have read, Photoshop 7.0 is the best but it is very expensive, complicated and I suppose only used by professionals. Thanks for any suggestions. :)

I use ArcSoft Photo Studio. It came with my pc. It is limited in it's features but I get by. I have to do alot of stuff "the hard way". I thought about getting something better but I didn't want to spend the money just to make avatars. I know there are free programs out there too but I haven't tried any of them yet.

If you search the boards you'll find more info on other programs. Hopefully some of our members can give you some advice on these programs.

Thanks for the help ACE. I took your advice and posted a thread on the digital media board. Also, sorry RozFan, I didn't mean to hijack your thread. :D
