I haven't been to AK since this ride opened. Is it similar to Soarin' or the Star Wars ride? Does it cause motion sickness?

Yes. Depends.

Yes, it's similar to both Soarin and Star Wars. Soarin' in that you look at wide vistas. Star Wars in that you feel yourself moving around. I personally didn't experience motion sickness. I was apprehensive but found the ride to be just as exhilarating as Soarin. But my experience may be different from someone else's.

I rode it 2 weeks ago - I wear glasses and couldn't get a smooth-screen view with the 3D glasses on and got motion sick because of it. Soarin' doesn't make me sick but star tours is a one-and-done a trip thing.
