I didn't make you an icon, but I'll also be having an anniversary in WDW soon, only I'll also be getting married. We met two years ago this October, I proposed at WDW last October, and we'll be married at the wedding pavillion this October.
My avatar is a little something I whipped up on a whim one night. I even added a little animation to go with it. ( Check it out at

I've had a hankering to do some Disney themed renders and animations. I'd like to model Cinderella's Castle, but I need some better pictures from quite a few angles to get it anywhere near right.
I did toy around with a Body Wars homage, though:

If anyone has any good, detailed pictures of WDW landmarks that they'd like to see as a three dimensional render and/or animation, let me know. I'll need as many pictures from as many different angles and distances as you can get, though - and some architectural drawings would not be amiss.
I'd rather stay away from characters for the time being, though. I'd like to, in time, get as much of the Resort modelled as I can. Since I can only afford to work on these Disney scenes in my extremely limited spare time, I want to stay focused on my end goal of modeling each park in detail.
Ultimately, I would like to take some of this work and re-create it in a realtime rendering environment for the purpose of virtual vacations and simulated attraction experiences.
Anyway, if anyone can help me out with the pictures and drawings I mentioned above, please drop me a line. It would be greatly appreciated. I did manage to get a ton of pictures of the castle from multiple angles and distances on my last trip. Unfortunately, the memory stick I used in the camera decided it rather enjoyed Disney and lept out of my bag at some point of the vacation so that it wouldn't have to leave.
It's kind of fun to check out the looks you get from people when you're taking a million pictures of the same thing, sometimes getting within a few feet from it and taking a picture of a blank wall. They look at you like you're crazy....hrmmm, maybe they're on to something!
