AutoImmune Disease & Disney

How are you able to get through security without the agent going inside your ziplock bags? Do you explain your situation? I ask because I do the same thing with my eye drops. I have a dry eye condition that requires me to use preservative free drops every two hours. They come in tiny single use vials. When I'm away from home I put each needed vial in its own snack size ziplock to keep the outside sanitary. It's hit or miss with how thorough Disney bag check is but I've had several occasions where the agent removed the vials from the bags and handled them. They were worthless to me after that and had to be discarded. Not only are they pricey making this wasteful but it caused me to have to leave the park early each time to go retrieve more drops. I'm just wondering how you keep your items from being handled.
I always pull my ziplock out myself and hold it up for them to see. No one has ever opened the bag. I did have one go through my clear backpack purse this last trip. That was a first. She even took out my extra pair of socks and squeezed them. I'm talking about a tiny pair of liners. I threw them away, and stopped and alcohol wiped everything in my bag. Don't carry anything in your bag that zips, even a wallet. They will take it and unzip it.
We entered parks a minimum of twice a day, and I only had two bag check people to open my clear backpack purse. The rest just looked through the outside and handed it back.
To make sure something you really don't want touched isn't handled, put it in a pocket. I always make sure I have at least one pocket on my clothes. I usually put my individual alcohol wipes and any meds in my pockets so they stay clean. After bag check, I put them in my bag. I also put my small camera in my pocket sometimes. Just make sure and put it in your bag before going through the metal detector.

I keep my son's meds in a freezer ziplock and they've never made me take anything out. He has a nose spray, asthma pumps, anti-histamines and epipens. That's really unfortunate that they've made you take out the vials.
