A really cool thing happened to me today...

I had a guest come up to me, and had me sign thier autograph book... They told me that instead of having Characters sign thier books, they always have Cast Members who provide them with magical moments sign thier book... this way, they can remember thier vacation, and who helped make it magical. I thought it was a really cool idea... :)

That´s really sweet of them and a great idea! Think of all the many times you have a nice cm help you and with the time passing, you realize you have forgotten or not sure of his/her name!

(would be also nice if they sent a letter to GR mentionning you when they get home...) hehe:animwink:

That is such a great idea! We always have one or two CM who really go the extra mile to make us feel special. I always want to write a letter when I get home but forget their names :( I'll definately have to try this next time with my son. :)

Kids love it too... As a Monorail Pilot, I'd get kids every so often who wanted me to sign thier book... I'd draw a lil monorail in it, with an arrow that said, "You rode here... with me!!" and then signed my name...

And it makes us CM's feel good too... it's kind of like a "Thank you" for us... And you're right... it'd help y'all remember our names so that you can write wonderful letters about us... hehehe :animwink:

Fantasia Boi, do you give the Co-Pilot Licenses if they ask you or are those ONLY for front seat riders?

It really depends on the driver... some drivers will give them out to everyone who rides in thier front cab, other drivers hate the cards... me... I only give them out to special guests, or those who ask.

We also have cool "Honorary Bus Driver" cards that I give out to special guests that ride my bus... :)

I signed autographs too many times, but the best one was one fine day early in the morning when I was greeting below Spaceship Earth in my mexican long white costume, and this girl asked me for an autograph... well... the other girls around followed her and my co-worker that morning, a guy from UK, started to act as my escort and formed a long line of kids asking for "Maria, the mexican princess´s" autograph! (in his own words). That was really hilarious and I wish we had a camera to capture that moment... I swear I stayed there for a good while signing autographs while wondering why they were asking for them! I was just wondering what their faces would be when they get to WSC and see many dressed like me inside the pavillion! :animwink:

I had a blast and they all made my day.... until now! ;)

Sooo... check your kid´s books... you might have one of "Maria, the mexican princess"! ;)

I loved the annual pass holders that came all the time... I had one family from upstate Florida, I believe... and the father would come down all the time for business, and they'd stay at the Poly. His two kids would always search for me and ride in my front cab... It was always a great thing to see them on the platform as I came in... :)

We do! Actually... we used to have "Bus Licenses"... but you can imagine the legal trouble we had with that one... how it made it past legal and into production, I will never know... (Pretty much EVERYTHING has to go through Legal... in fact... according to Legal... we're not allowed to use Mickey on our Monorail co-pilot licenses... )

At any rate... Below is an old License... one of the few that exist... sorry it's all bent up... I actually found it lying around one day. And also, is the Honorary Bus Driver card... Sorry for the horrible quality, I don't have a scanner... all I have is my digital camera...
