Autograph Book Question

I have a 7x7 scrapbook to use for character autographs, but I have another idea. I can get an album that holds 4x6 index cards, about 5 per page. Could I just take a stack of cards and a small clipboard with a Sharpie for autographs? Would the cards be too small for some characters to sign?

my local scrapbook store has a binding machine. I bought a white cardboard cover and used modge podge to protect the stickers and paper from getting ruined, then printed out the pages on cardstock. I decided which characters to add in based on this website http://home.att.net/~disneysue/characters/wdw/disneycharacters.html we saw most of them but not all. I added tabs on the side so we would have easy access to the different characters. All the characters loved it and gave her special attention which made my daughter feel great! The best characters were the stepsisters, they cracked us up with comments about what they were dressed in. It was great fun.
