Aunt Polly's Current Menu Confirmation

Ok, my 2004 Disney travel book states that in addition to desserts and pb&j, Aunt Polly's Dockside Inn also serves ham & swiss cheese sandwiches and turkey sandwiches. Can anyone who's been there recently confirm whether or not this is currently true?

I really want to take my family to this lovely spot on our summer vacation, but we'll only have time for it if we can combine it with lunch, and pb&j wouldn't be satisfactory. Thanks. :)

Hi! If you go to allearsnet.com under the dining heading you can find restaurant menus. I looked and all I saw that they serve was pb&j. I hope this helps. Good luck and have fun!!

I saw that, thanks. However, it also says that menu was taken from June 2003, and this book is a 2004 edition, so there's a little discrepency here. That's why I was hoping to hear from someone who has been there in the recent months. :)

The best thing to get is a good root beer float and walk around the island :D

Last I heard it was just deserts too, no PJ&J.

Also check the thread about Tom Sawyer Rehabs in the Rumours and News board. Aunt Polly's will obviously be closed while the island is under rehab.

We were there a couple of weeks ago and I can confirm that they only had desserts listed on the menu outside Aunt Polly's. We were disappointed because we were planning to eat lunch there. So, we came back across to Pecos Bill's and enjoyed lunch there instead. :slurp:

Thanks a lot, I appreciate it. I just called Disney Dining (why didn't I think of this before) and asked, and they said it's desserts only as well. Very disappointing, and one can only hope they switch back to a snack/light lunch kind of place. It looks like we'll be eating at Pecos Bill Cafe instead as well.

I have to definately try Aunt Polly's....at all the times I've been to the MK (around 5 times), I have never gone on Tom Sawyer Island or even the riverboat. But I'll definately try it next time which will be probably less than a month.

Whats the best dessert they sell @ Aunt Polly's??

You could always get your grub at Peco's Bills or Columbia Harbour House and take it over to the island to enjoy. :) Get your drinks at Aunt Polly's.

You could even plan ahead and take a plastic grocery bag (your picnic basket, lol) with you to the park to ease the transport.
