Aulani Trip Report

My wife, son (6), and I got back a little while ago from a week at Aulani. We loved the resort. The resort doesn't have to much of an imposing Disney presence, mainly the gift shops and the area where they do character meet and greets. It does have great theming and is very relaxing.

We did Rainbow Reef and enjoyed it, not enough for the length of stay pass. On the single day pass, you can go as many times as you want, which we did.

The restaurants we ate at (Oleo Room for breakfast, Off the Hook for lunch, and Ama Ama for lunch) were good, but expensive. We skipped the buffets, because they were insanely expensive.

My son loved the pools, beach, and Aunty's beach house. The slides can get busy, with the tube slide having a long wait at times.

We ran around the island, as well. We went to the North Shore, Pearl Harbor (phenominal experience), and the Aloha Swap meet.
