August Planning Question

We were there last August and had a blast. It wasn't really crowded but that's cause summer vacations for school kids had also finished and we were there from Saturday-Thursday so we had lots of weekdays in there

And yes it's very hot (at least for a swiss person like me haha) but not dry

Have a fantastic time! Oh how I wish I could go again this year.

Oh but yeah, when we were there Hunted Mansion closed on Monday for halloween decoor. We were there from 25th on, they closed it on 27th. But this date may change a week or two ahead so just beware.

I love that ride, very much worth getting waterlogged for (although we rode it right before we were going to head back to the room for a while, just so we could dry off our clothes)!

I love the whole Grizzly Peak Recreation Area, actually. It is very scenic and does a great job of creating an idealized state park atmosphere.

I'm glad you enjoyed the ride! I got soaked as well, the last time I went on.

Grizzly Peak is definitely one of my favorite lands at DCA. Very scenic indeed and very pretty. They have done a good job with the entire area.
