Why is the entire month of August booked?

I cannot find anything for anytime more than 3 days.

I thought free dinning starts Sept 1? My family I are going at the end

of Aug. Florida kids are back in school. More room to roam.

Most individuals book their vacations pretty far in advance, and August is still high season (well, until the kids go back to school), so it may be tough to find space at this late date.

I agree with the poster above me, call Disney - maybe they can find you a room for longer than the 3 days. At the worst, maybe they can find a room for you in a different resort for an additional couple days, and move your luggage between them for you. Good luck!

Free dining was offered most of August and September for UK residents and as a bounce-back promotion to travelers last fall; and then it was offered again for late August thru the end of September to the general public.

That deal ran from early April until the end of June.

And then there was an August-September deal that ran until July 28 to help fill the remaining rooms.
