Trip Report August Birthday Celebration

I've never done a trip report before so let's see how this goes.

Who: Rich(me) and Christina(sister and birthday girl)
When: Aug 23-27
Where: Boardwalk Inn

So, I asked my sister if she wanted a gift or a trip to Disney and she chose disney. We've never stayed at the boardwalk inn so we're excited to try something new.
The plan is to fly out of LGA and arrive in Orlando at 9am on the 23rd drop off our bags and head to MK. The next three day will be Epcot, HS(and Halloween party) and then AK.
This will be our second consecutive year going in late August and I hope the crowds are as light as last year. I'm excited to get there and also to do this trip report.

Update: Just received a special offer to upgrade from the boardwalk to the grand floridian for $100 total. So I of course took it because I usually wouldn't want to pay grand floridian prices.

So today marks 60 days. Got the 2 adrs I really wanted, Round up BBQ and City works. Have never done woodys and my sister loves to try all the beers at city works. Also made a resy for tonys too since so many people have said it's gotten much better.

In our uber on the way to grand floridian to drop off our bags and then head to MK. It is , I can only imagine how bad it was when they had the advisory.

My sister didn't sleep at all last night so she's trying to catch up a little. I, on the other hand am well rested and ready to go.

So we got to the grand floridian about 20 mins ago. By the time we were done checking in our room was ready, which was unexpected. C was very excited to see pluto in the marble as he's her favorite. Time for MK

First ride is big thunder. Got the first row which I've never done before and I was quite nervous. It was great though. Now time for a must do snack, a corn dog at sleepy hollow.
