I'm sure she normally wouldn't have bothered, but, since you feel it necessary to call out someone who's first language isn't English on a very common method of proposing a hypothetical situation, it seems to be a very fair response.

I was going to ignore this... An exclamation point can indicate things like excitement, shock, yelling... One uses caps when they want to put emphasis on a word. One can also italicize the word for emphasis.
