Alright so im going for Round 3 to audition for characters again. Ok so at the end of my audition 6 months ago, the lady tells me that If I wanted to audition again that I would not have to go interview again. Now 6 months later casting is telling me differently. What's the deal? I hate going down there for 30 minutes, and keep getting handed a paper to let me go the audition..its the same thing over and over again. So....I have an interview on friday morning, and I know how the entire process goes. But I know they're gonna ask me if I wanna work somewhere else in the parks, and I'll say attractions of course. What attractions are in need of desperate help right now? Oh and another thing how desperate are they in need of characters right now? Is right now a good time to audition, and actually get in? All help would be appreciated! Thanks!

So when is the best time of the year to audition to actually get hired? How come Disney keeps getting more CP's than it needs? And btw..what height range is that right now?

We just got a huge batch of CP's, you might want to stick with Universal for now.

Well Universal was fun for the summer, but for some reason they don't let their characters go seasonal for college..so unfortunetley I had to quit. But whenever I want I have a re-hire status. Plus the characters that I was friends with there...we're fun most of the time, but when you only do about 5 characters with the same people things get quite old. I'd like to move over to Disney, and get my foot in the door, and become friends with more than 5 characters. Thanks for the advice! But my last question is this....when do these current CP's leave, and and when they leave is that a good time to get in?

Umm I know some ppl who are seasonal with universal. And to tell ya most of the time at disney you will be friends with about the same number of friends depending on your height. But as for the hours they go to full time and cps right now, and were in abundance. The CPs that just started well they all leave in Jan, but after that we get the new bunch in...

Yeah..they let some of their characters go seasonal, but since I got hired at the beginning of the summer..they wouldn't let me go seasonal. Which I found to be very dumb. They told me since they don't have many characters, and not as many team members...that they need me to work, instead of remaining on there file as seasonal. Right now, they actually need people..so it's better for THEM to hire somebody new, then for me to remain seasonal on their paperwork. Yeah it was a whole mass confusion sort of thing. I'm just ready to come to Disney, and begin my childhood dream..it just sucks that there not allowing other people to make it a reality.

It's much easier once you are on the inside. Take a job wherever they need you and then you will be in "the know" of what's going on when. Bottom line is if you want to work for Disney, they feel you will work anywhere they need you. So again, it's better to be on the inside first.
