It's pretty common in years that there is a DCI South show here in Orlando. One or two of the corps will perform before the Magic Kingdom afternoon parade on Sunday afternoon after the Saturday night show. This year that show is taking place on Sunday, July 8th, so it's not clear whether they would participate in the parade or not. It would likely depend on their tour schedule and where they need to be next.

I'm surprised Disney doesn't have their own D&B Corps to use in the parks, parades, special events.

Wouldn't mind a supersized D&B Corps to be the halftime entertainment for the Super Bowl and replace all those crazy pop shows that try to create a stadium-sized show around one, small celebrity.

Back in the 1970's the Anaheim Kingsmen were partly sponsored by Disneyland and even played Mickey Mouse song. When Disney pulled their sponsor the Kingsmen lost everything including instruments and buses. Drum corps can't do much with out their horns & drums. Got to see them DCI championship in 1974 in NY, yes I know I'm old. The guard I marched in competed in the winter guard part before WGI was an organization.

In 2008, I played timpani until i hurt my back in a rain storm bad enough to end up out for the season Sadly my age out year with Spartans of Nashua NH. I miss it so much!

I grew up listening to the years you all marched! Star was always one of the corps that i was enthralled with, as well as Madison.

I actually have a Blast CD in my car thats currently being listened to on the way back and forth to work.

The whole reason I marched corps was because I wanted to be in Blast!
The same year I decided I wanted to march corps was the year I also decided to do the Disney College Program - and the rest is history!

I think they told me that several of them had marched DCI when they were younger. A few Future Corps members are still around in other bands (I've seen Keith in several bands). But I miss Future Corps also!
