You got out just in time. What did you play? The Vandorens lived in my hometown for years. 83 was the first year I saw drum corps. The cadets were awesome that year. World champion s that year?? I was a fan of The Bridgemen

I never got to a World Class Corps,

I marched with a division 3 corps in 2007 Called Citations out of Burlington Mass,
In 2008, I played timpani until i hurt my back in a rain storm bad enough to end up out for the season Sadly my age out year with Spartans of Nashua NH. I miss it so much!

I grew up listening to the years you all marched! Star was always one of the corps that i was enthralled with, as well as Madison.

I actually have a Blast CD in my car thats currently being listened to on the way back and forth to work.

I wish DCI competitions would come back to WDW, I'd love to combine seeing both at the same time.

I'm surprised Disney doesn't have their own D&B Corps to use in the parks, parades, special events.

Wouldn't mind a supersized D&B Corps to be the halftime entertainment for the Super Bowl and replace all those crazy pop shows that try to create a stadium-sized show around one, small celebrity.

Yes, '83 was the first time Garfield won the championship. I played quads.

And regarding The Bridgemen, they always had an annoyingly talented drumline.
