I've been trying to make a disney cd with actual ride soundtracks and theme songs. I was using audiogalaxy but now I can't download anything off it. It always just sends me to the discussion board which I don't want to be at. Does anybody know what I could be doing wrong or better yet, somewhere else I could go to find full ride themes and soundtracks.

:D  :) :hammer:  :veryconfu

Sorry to say this but Audiogalaxy got shut down.:(
Your best bet is to download Kazaa or Bearshare (sp?) or Aimster.
Yeah I know it sucks.

The law finally caught up with AudioGalaxy. It's been shut down for several weeks.

Try searching for Kazaa.

It's a P2P site. It's not as fast, or have as many selections, but it's the best thing I've found so far. When you sign up, make sure you UNCHECK the boxes for ads, or it'll load a bunch of garbage on your computer.

Does anyone have any other sites they use for finding music?

go to kazaa, thats the one I use :sohappy: I was looking to do the same thing. I got the 100 years CD when we were down there but they don't have some of the older songs. e-mail me and we can swap. I am looking for the old and new version of one little spark. I found a part of the old song but not the new.

I have the original record with it on it. If you don't mind some snap, crackles and pops.

I ue WinMX.com I have many ride soundtracks already. If there are any particular ones that you need, e-mail me and I will send the file to you.

Limewire is another nice file sharing client. Also, I would recommend DrumBeat. DrumBeat is for Macintosh. I believe that an OS X version is now available. I usually have the most success with Limewire though. Bearshare is also not too bad!

I downloaded both:

WDW Millenium Celebration "Tapestry Of Nations"

Disney 100 years of magic "Tapestry Of Dreams"

Both .mp3s are VERY large as both songs are over 20 mins long. There's some snapping, crackling, and popping, but its not really noticeable unless you really tune in to the music. Besides, since I'm on cable modem, I use BearShare and Gnucleus.

Limewire and Bearshare connect to the same networks. I don’t know if it is still the case but there use to be an issue in the design of the networks that limited the number of users to no more than 40,000 per network which sounds like a lot but when you are looking for something like obscure Disney music, it’s not. I just fired up Kazza and there are currently 2,449,668 people online. As far as I know it is the largest network around getting millions of new users each week. Like someone else said, make sure you uncheck all the additional options on install or it will install a bunch of spy-wear on your system like Bearshare does automatically.

Impossible is correct. Disney has never released a version of it.
Cyndi Lauper sings a song by the same title that is similar, so you might want to look into that.

Yeah, I found this version on kazaa, together with the Phill Collins version. I have never heard Cindy Lauper's. I will give it a try. But let me ask you something: I saw on the thread "Ride videos" that you posted something about it. What version were you talking about? I know there is no officially released version of that preshow, but someone must have recorded it... They record everything! I wouldn't mind some interference or people's sounds in the recording... :)
