Attraction that gets ya in Disney mode

Pick the attraction that starts you off in Disney mode. You know, that one that lets you just enjoy yourself. Even though some have cheap effects, they don't stop you from having fun.

I picked the Magic Kingdom entrance. Nothing gets me into the Disney mood better than walking under the train station onto Main Street, hearing the music and seeing the Castle.

Epcot entrance... with SE looming in front of you and the delightful (well, it used to be delightful) 2001 Epcot Entrance Theme blaring... Ahh...

Before any of the attractions (or the parks or the resorts) is the "Walt Disney World" sign over the road with Mickey on one side and Minnie on the other. That, more than anything, switches my Disney mode to On.

Of the choices listed in the poll, I voted for the MK entrance.

My vote's for the Magic Kingdom Entrance...
Nothing compares to the feeling you get when you get your first glimpse of Cinderella's Castle. It's absolutely amazing.

I agree we love to get off the monorail and hear the train whistle. Then to walk under the station and see and smell main street "sniff"

A few put me into the Disney mode; Walt Disney World Railroad, monorail, Tomorrowland Transit Authority, & Spaceship Earth. Actually, the monorail ride at Orlando International Airport puts me in the Disney mode too!

I voted for Epcot Entrance, but I just remembered as a kid was the "Turn your radio to 800AM for WDW Information" sign as you enter Disney property. I loved turning the radio to it and listening as SE came into view.

i went to the world this past april. it had been eight years since i'd been there. what really did it for me was the parking lot tram ride, the one that takes you to the ticket area. as soon as i saw the parking lot tram, and sat in the seat, i knew i was really there.:king:

As soon as i see the Walt Disney World sign on the entracnce road i am straight in to disney mode.

If its not that then it is either the monorail or the boat taking you across to the magic kingdom that does it for me.

I voted for Magic Kingdom entrance, it is just, so... not to sound cheesy, but magical, walking down Main Street and seeing Cinderella Castle for the first time on a trip, it's just so great!

I would have to go with the MK entrance. But the one that really gets me is driving through the main entrance of Walt Disney World, it just hits me and the excitement returns.

The sight of Spaceship Earth, seeing Cinderellas Castle, riding Splash Mountain or Big Thunder, Riding the monorail through the Contemporary.

Getting off my plane at The Orlando Airport, seeing everyone in the airport with Hawaiian shirts and shorts and Disney World T-shirts, riding on the airport Monorail to baggage claim, and stepping outside into the Florida Humidity ALL get me into the Disney Mode.
