Actually it's:
If you had wings -> Dreamflight -> Buzzlightyear Space Ranger's

There was no such ride as if you could fly.

if you could fly was only around for a short time...but it did indeed exist

In June 1972 the ride opened as the Eastern Airlines sponsored "If You Had Wings." This was a slow-moving dark ride exploring the joys and wonders of travel. Guests continued to enjoy it until June 1987 when Disney and Eastern parted company.

After Eastern ended its sponsorship, the ride went down for a couple of weeks and re-opened later in June 1987 with minor changes as "If You Could Fly."

Closing again in January 1989, it underwent a complete refurbishment and show change. It re-emerged in June 1989 as "Dreamflight" sponsored by Delta Airlines. It was still a slow-moving dark ride with a travel theme, but with a whole new show.

In 1996, Delta dropped its sponsorship and the ride was re-named "Take Flight," although almost nothing was changed other than the removal of Delta's logos from the building.

Taken from http://home.cfl.rr.com/omniluxe/iyhw-main.htm

In June 1987, the last guests rode through If You Had Wings. Eastern had withdrawn its sponsorship of the ride and this called for several changes. Later that same month the attraction was renovated and reopened as If You Could Fly, an "alternate" version of its former self. The ride was physically much the same, but the old music and all references to Eastern were of course gone. It lacked the magnetism of the original and invited too many disappointing comparisons.

Oh- Tigger1988 was too quick for me!! :p

Hoop-De-Do Revue - Woody's Roundup - Meet and Greet (and hoping something permanent will come eventually)

You're confusing the Hoop Dee Doo with the Diamond Horseshow Saloon. The Hoop Dee Doo is a dinner show that still exists.

Not only does it still exist, but it's the best dinner show ever!

I heartily agree. I never knew about it until I read trip reports, then I INSISTED that we go on our last trip in January. We made PS in August (4 months out). Since they base seating on when you make your PS, we got a spot, right in the center in the second row. Best seat in the house, IMO. Try the sangria. it's so yummy!!! :sohappy:
