Attraction of the Day...Tower of Terror

This is my second favorite ride in all of Disney. I love this ride because it is a great ride with a great theme. I love walking into the building and seeing all the dust that they have there it adds to the effect of the hotel being closed after the whole story.

The theming is one of the best parts. It wouldn't be nearly as good without it.

You haven't been on, while sitting next to a larger person with a gut? As you can imagine they put the lap bar down, but it stops at the other persons' gut, so you have like a good 6 inches from your lap to the bar.

ToT is great, I could never get sick of it!

BUT, I do have something negative about ToT..........oh yes........the infamous SEATBELT SEAT!!! I pray I don't get stuck in that everytime I ride! I've never had the misfortune of having to(thank goodness) sit strapped in with a seatbelt. I have to imagine, it takes ALL the fun right out of it. But I don't know, never done it.

First time on...

I remember the first time I road the ToT, my wife was grabbing one arm and this kid, thinking I was her dad, was grabbing my other. Both of them screaming. It was a funny picture at the photo booth, anyway.

And, I agree with NowInc, the floater seat does rock!

ToT IS NOT TO BE MISSED!!! Even this mild-mannered mom becomes a screaming maniac on this ride! Aside from the drop, the effects are so good that the entire experience is a hoot.

One tip - do NOT ride with a bottle of soda...firmly closed or not, it will explode inside your backpack! (Guess how I found out...)

what happens! do you get the preshow, etc then be lead all the way to the top, get in, and drop?

No, you get the preshow, put in the elevator at the bottom, which then moves up through the floor showing you spooky things. Then they drop you from about 8 floors up (?) before taking you to the top to drop you. Go on this ride, it's brilliant.
