OK gang, I have never been on ToT. I am planning on riding it on my trip next week. So give me reasons why I should ride.

In all seriousness...ToT is my all time favorite ride...once you ride it..you will understand why ;)

I rode ToT for the first time this past December, and it was every bit as exciting as I thought it would be....
It scared the begeezes out of me, as I grabbed onto the saftey bar for dear life, but I will ride it again on my next visit. :)

Well, it took me 3 visits to MGM to finally decide to do ToT, but once I did...I was in love. In fact, the day after I tried it, I returned to MGM & spent the whole day on it! Everything before the drop sets the mood so perfectly & ToT is SO much more than the drop!! The effects are astounding, the theming is perfect...it's just phenomenal. I didn't buy the pic the first time I rode...too embarrassed after I saw it (Yes, I was on the verge of a heart attack), but if anyonr else was on at that time & bought the pic, I'm sure they get a good laugh at my expense every time they look at it. :rolleyes:

....I still hold the record for most consecutive rides on ToT in a single day...perhaps at the "meet" in august..someone can challenge me...muahahaha

I don't know what you had but I had six consecutive rides on TOT!

This the the best ride of all time :p It's unbeleaveable! You just have to ride it.

Tower of Terror is a great ride....not based on the ride itself, because there are much scarier drop-type rides at other theme parsks, but mainly because of the theming and story that goes along with it. The authentic look of the hotel, the inside of the lobby, the basement, etc......all of that combined make this a must-do attraction.

I would die for that chance! Ive been on 107 but thats just like combined with all my visits. Did you do this with a bunch of people attempting to ride it? How'd it work?!!

Well...you have to do it on the off season or else you wont be able to get past 40...youd spend too much time on the que...

I started first thing in the morning and kept doing it until closing...

Word of caution tho..you WILL begin to dislike the que movie after the 20th time or so...

What about in a row. In got 6 without getting off the ride. I got six of those.

I think that he means that he got 6 in a row without getting off and back in line. Anyway, that is quite the record. I am very impressed. Once I am a cast member again I will challenge you, LOL.

Absolute BEST ride anywhere! It has EVERYTHING! Great queue, set up, story-line, special effects, and, of course, the drops!!

Has anyone ever tried to put things under the lap-bar so you'll fly higher in the drops??? It's worked a few times for me.... but of course, there have been the times where CMs tried to cut off my arms as they jammed it down on me. I wish they would let you have more space between your body and the bar... it makes the drops SOOOOOO much better!
