I think Spider Man uses a ride system known as C.A.V.E. I have no clue what it stands for.It's some of the newest ride technology around. Where as Dinosaur uses some older tech...the same used in the Indy ride at DL.

I don't know I'm probably wrong about the type of tech Spider Man uses but I know its really new stuff.

Spider Man is cool but not worth the CRAP you have to put up with at IOA. I will not return there.

Oh I totally agree!! The ride is awesome, but IOA's employees and guests were AWFUL! Employees were rude, costumes (if you can call them that) were usually half-on. Guests were obnoxious and rude! Plus the place is dirty as crap!

ONCE AGAIN, Spiderman doesnt use CAVE...... NO CURRENT ATTRACTION in existance uses CAVE........ as for Dinosaur, ive never been on the "newer version" (i will in may) but i did ride it as CTX, and thought it was ok, but very dissapointing.... I would LOVE to ride either of the Indy rides, though. As for IoA su-cking, i find that statement far from accurate, but thats my opinion. I think IoA is the best theme park, right after Disney's parks, IMO

I guess I'm just spoiled by the wonderful service at Disney. I really don't appreciate hearing workers (they are not CM's at IOA or even worthy of the title) yell at other people's kids. Even if they are being obnoxious, there's better ways to handle it. Plus the land area is just not there. Too much stuff in too little space.
Okay. Sorry this went off on a tangent. I still don't think Dinosaur or anything in Dinoland is all that great...although I do love Animal Kingdom as a whole. An AK day is the perfect one to end with a night at Cirque du Soleil...which is exactly what we did. Very relaxing.

It's ok, I guess. Just not as scary as I thought it would be. Jurassic Park is WAY better. And if you're saying it was toned down after they changed the name, than it must be worse...

I didn't really notice a difference between CTX and Dinosaur.

I've always seen the line flowing outside the building, never seen a short line. And yes, you'd be crazy to wait in line, I definately recommend that you only use Fastpass on this one.

Overall, like Sansaari said, I only go to AK for a couple of things, Dinosaur is one.

I didn't notice any difference in the ride, but they did add the Dino just before you go back to the lab.

CTX > Dinosaur (for name)

Indy was much better than this.

I wouldn't say that Dino is one of my favorites, but I think it is a great ride. I love the part where the dino runs after the car...very cool.

Dinosaur is one of Animal Kingdom's very few must-do rides. I enjoyed it because of all the motion and jerking around, but on the other hand there was too much pitch blackness which I feel is sort of a lazy way of building up a ride. But, I did enjoy it. It is a good ride.
